As you're all well aware by now, I'm going through a bit of a stressful time in my life, I'm trying to overcome a few little health-hiccups, move house, and start a new job. I can't really go into the job bit, you may be aware that I work in HR and my new job is in HR so I need to be confidential, I also can't go into my reasons for leaving my current job but all I will say is I won't be walking out of the door, I'll be running! Anyway, what with all that and my new exercise regime I'm really struggling to actually take some time out! Countless times recently I've collapsed into bed and cried my eyes out because I'm so exhausted - predominantly because I worry myself SILLY about things like 'where am I going to keep all of my shoes?' 'what about the fish tank?' and 'when am I going to get time to actually move all of my stuff?!' (Alex says it will all work out and everything will be ok...hmm...)
Anyway, when I do remember to just relax I tend to have a bath. Making the new Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Bath Soak an absolute godsend. Deep Heat has always been one of my 'got to have it in the medicine box' products but when you're shattered and ache all over, rubbing it on isn't really an option! You pour this (bright orange) liquid under hot water, lay back, relax and let it get to work on soothing your muscles. It smells lovely, warming and soothing and slightly of oranges which is wonderful ♥
Once I'm out of the bath, if he isn't working or practically asleep on his feet (he works 12 hour days at the moment!) Alex is often a complete babe and gives me a bit of a shoulder and neck massage (keeper!). The Muscle Rescue Neck and Shoulder Cream is cracked out at this point. The thing I love the most about this is that the cap contains a little sponge applicator, one of the things I dislike about normal deep heat is that its horrible on your hands! The little applicator keeps mess and 'hot hands' to a minimum, it's also really relaxing as it sort of massages your skin :)
Both products are available at Tesco, the bath soak is £5.50 here and the Neck and Shoulder Cream is £6 here lovely and affordable!
xo
I need some of this bath soak in my life! I dance and exercise almost everyday and sometimes I end up walking like a zombie because moving my legs is that difficult :( Hope you feel better soon and good luck with moving house :)
